We Built a Gallery. Here's Why.

For years, some of the best photographs from our Cuba and Vietnam workshops have lived in hard drives and personal folders — seen by the people who made them, shared with family, maybe posted once to Instagram. That always felt like a missed opportunity.

The work deserved a home.

That’s why we’ve launched x-peditions.com — a dedicated gallery site showcasing photographs made by our workshop participants across Havana, Hanoi, the craft villages around the city and in the countryside of the Ninh Bình district. It's organized by place, so you can wander the way we did, neighborhood by neighborhood, destination by destination.

These galleries are filled with photos made by photographers who showed up, pushed themselves and stepped out of their comfort zones. Watching that happen, trip after trip, photographer after photographer is one of the best parts of running these workshops.

Our new gallery site is our way of saying so publicly.
